1. General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will either notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment or offer you a replacement product as a substitute option which you are free to return if unsuitable by requesting a return label via firstname.lastname@example.org
Most orders will fit throught a standard letter box slot. If however your order is a larger size parcel, and you are not likely to be in to receive your order, please let us know a safeplace we can communicate during shipping or leave a note on your door for the postman to leave it with a neighbour, or look for the Royal Mail "Not able to deliver" note and contact them ASAP for re-delivery, or the parcel will be sent back to us. In this case you will be liable for return postage costs.
2. Dispatch Time - Dispatch times are estimates and commence from the date of order. Dispatch times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.
Orders placed before 1pm will usually be shipped the same day, unless there are exceptional circumstances, if not the following day as standard.
We will always make every effort to dispatch your order within 3 business days at the latest, from the date of your order. However some products are subject to extended handlind times, noted on product detail page, and these are dispatched within 7 business days.
Business days are Monday to Friday, except public and bank holidays.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are based on the overall weight of your order and the chosen delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost to ship, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges, if any, will be displayed.
Orders may be shipped out on a differing shipment option via more appropriate shipping services, depending on the value and weight of your order at our discretion if necessary. You will not be liable for any extra charges / reimbursement.

5. Worldwide Delivery Times
Delivery to destinations outside the UK usually vary from 5 to 10 business days, however can take longer given circumstances out of our control.
Please note, customers outside the UK may be responsible for additional customs charges depending on their country customs requirements and based on order value. We are not responsible for paying customs charges in such cases.
Please note: We post orders as quickly as possible. However, the delivery times mentioned above are NOT guaranteed - they are approximate times provided by the mail carriers. Once we pass an item to a mail delivery service company, we cannot control delays and delivery times. Whilst we are sorry for any inconvenience caused by delivery delays, we cannot take any responsibility for them - though we will, of course, do everything we can to help you get your order in the quickest possible time.
6. Order Details
You will receive two emails after you have placed your order and provided us with a valid email address:
- The first confirms that your order has been received and will contain your receipt; this email should arrive within approximately 24 hours.
- The second confirms that your order has been posted; this email should arrive within approximately 1-3 business days following authorisation of your credit card and verification of your information.
- If you do not receive our emails, please look in your spam or junk folders. If they are not found in there, you may have typed in an incorrect email address when completing the order form email address field. Contact us and we can look into your order for you.
7. Late packages
If your order appears to be late, please remember:
- courier deliveries only take place on business days (i.e. Monday - Friday, excluding holidays).
- delays to deliveries by Royal Mail do occur and these are beyond our control. Please be patient, as usually your item will arrive within a few days of dispatch. Always check your post box for an “unable to deliver” note, as most packages will be unable to fit in a standard post box and if a signature is required, they will not leave the item and you may be required to collect from the local delivery office.
Please note: In some cases, Royal Mail do not leave an “unable to deliver” note. If your delivery has not arrived after 5 working days and you have not had an “unable to deliver” note left in your letter box, contact your local post office or Royal Mail collection depot immediately, as it will usually be awaiting collection there. If parcels are not collected within 7 working days, they are usually posted back to us. However, it takes around 30 days for us to receive returned parcels. In these circumstances, a delivery charge will apply to any orders that are required to be re-shipped to you.
8. Delayed, lost or confiscated mail
The time period before Royal Mail will accept that an item has been lost is 15 business days from the delivery due date for UK mail, and approximately 25 days for mail posted to anywhere outside the UK.
When placing an order with us, please take care to provide your full and correct address. In the event of lost mail due to incorrect address details being provided, we will not be able to refund your shipping costs (if applicable). You will also be required to pay for a share of the re-stocking fee, which will be up to 25% of the amount you paid for the item(s) in your order.
8. Shipping Outside UK & Relevant Laws
Our prices do not include taxes and tariffs. Customers outside of Ireland may be subject to customs fees and/or import duties and taxes, which are levied once an order reaches your country. We do not cover any additional charges for customs clearance these must be paid for by you (we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be).
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office or tax authority for information specific to your situation.
Additionally, when ordering from us, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Please note that our products are labelled to EU label regulations.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are allowed to import any supplement you wish to purchase from the UK into your own country. If Customs officials in your country return your order to us, destroy the package or confiscate the contents either because you did not have permission to import such supplements, or because such supplements are banned in your country, we will be unable to refund your order. Please check with your country's Customs officials to make sure that you are permitted to import any supplement before purchasing.
Important notice: Customs, in rare instances, may confiscate shipments containing locally prohibited products from entering into their respective countries. In the unlikely event that your shipment is confiscated, we accept no financial responsibility, and therefore will not offer any refunds for your order.
International customers agree to be sure of the following and must accept these terms: all rules of Customs and clearance to receive our products are the sole responsibility of the customer, and not Vita Sharks.
Vita Sharks is not responsible and cannot be held liable for packages which are confiscated by Customs, or misuse of the products.
We will not replace any items seized by the customs department of any country outside the United Kingdom.
All items shipped to countries outside the United Kingdom are shipped totally at the risk of the customer, and will not necessarily be reimbursed or replaced if the items are lost, stolen, or confiscated.
We reserve the right to add insurance to any order being shipped outside the United Kingdom to protect the interests of both Vita Sharks and you the consumer. Thanks for understanding.
