We’re very sorry to say that due to the high volume of orders and a somewhat depleted team, you order may regretfully take up to 5 days to be despatched. In addition, we understand that the Royal Mail and couriers are also struggling with the same problems and so deliveries are taking between, up to 5 working days for 1st class delivery and 5-10 working days for 2nd class. Therefore, we thank you for your patience during these pressing times.
In these unprecedented times we wanted to reassure you that the safety of our teams and customers is our biggest priority.
We are working around the clock to ensure our teams are as safe as possible, whilst staying open to meet the needs of our customers, and have therefore implemented the use of gloves, masks and hand sanitiser to our staff. We have asked all colleagues who have any concerns about these safety measures or who need more gloves, masks or sanitiser to contact their manager. Our teams across the business are working incredibly hard to maintain our service to customers, protect their health and the health of customers by following all the safety measures we have outlined.
Finally, we are clear that no colleague should feel concerned about the possibility of attending work. Any colleague self-isolating under government guidelines because of symptoms, or symptoms in someone they live with, will receive full pay for the recommended self-isolation period. We have written to all colleagues who have identified themselves as ‘most at risk’ to offer options for working from home. For any colleagues showing no symptoms, and who haven’t identified themselves as falling into the ‘most at risk’ category, but who don’t feel comfortable coming into work despite these safety measures, we will continue to employ these colleagues, and have made financial provisions for them.
